I'm sure that most bronies have started to understand that "rainbowfied" ponies are coming. There's been even more rainbows in the show as of late than normal and the rainbowfied toys have already started coming out in stores. Yes, that even means a rainbowfied Rainbow Dash, which sounds silly.

Some are hating this new development, others really like it. I guess that I fall somewhere in the middle on the matter. This is a show for little girls and little girls like rainbows. (Hell, I like rainbows in certain doses). If anyone wants to talk about the idea of rainbowfying the mane cast, feel free to comment bellow.

What I'm more interested to see is how these toys sell in a global market, especially in India. Though the idea of "tattoes" being on their hooves and forelegs seems strange to Western audiences, this idea will actually be very digestable to Indian children, because of the popularity of the mehndi (a form of temporary tattoo). Basically, a gel is put onto the hand in a pattern and then washed off. A residue temporarily stains the skin, leaving behind a colored design. This is a popular pass time for not only Indian girls and women, but also boys and men.

It's because of this, that I think that they are going to make killer sales in their Indian markets, because the colorful ponies will imitate a cultural symbol. It's similar to how, here in Texas, the Disney Princess toys, according to my mother, are always sold out of Jasmine dolls. This is because Latin girls will gravitate to Jasmine more readily, because she looks more like a family member. I predict that My Little Pony will make a killing in India. Of course, I don't really have a way to check this, so... it's just a theory...

Just wanted to show that I'm still on here, just not able to get anything done lately. I'm in my last semester of college and these couple weeks before finals are shaping up to be crazy. I'll be trying to get some stuff up here, but there's a chance that some of the stuff will be for my art class (only if it's any good). At least one of my ideas will involve ponies.

I do have a lot of ideas for submissions, from comics to fan fiction (Including a new Pocket Mans involving Sabrina) but I just haven't had the time to finalize anything yet.

I've worked on a few drafts for Bridle Fantasy and feel like the pacing is good, just need to finalize it and make art.

Excited about: MLP season 4 premiere (2 days before my birthday, no less).
Want to play: Final Fantasy XIV (I haven't wanted to play an MMO in a long time, but this looks pretty cool)
Bummed about: My Little Pony Card Game being pushed back until December 13th (the card quality is going up significantly, however, so that's good).
Not Sure How to Feel About: Pokemon X and Y (It looks like a great game, but I always seem to lose a lot of forward momentum in all these games. I feel like part of it has to do with how much my brother plays it. Both of my older brothers play and one of my long-time friends is playing. Feel like I may get pressured into it...)

I'd like to start off by saying that this would be a project down the road, so my other stuff is still in the works.

The idea is that Rarity has the Ponyville Schoolhouse put on "A Streetcar Named Desire" to comedic results. Anyone who is familiar with this play will know that it's really serious, but Blanche Dubois reminds me of Rarity so very much. The question that I have is if this sort of thing is okay (if it falls under fair use). The main issue comes up that the story being about rehearsing for the play seems that it would necessitate lines being used from the play and I'm really thinking that this will be pushing the limits of fair use.

I may just need to have Rarity reference the play in some comics or something, which will work since I see her Equestria Girls counterpart being a drama geek, anyways.
